DUBAI – The United Arab Emirates has further cemented its reputation for luxury hospitality, with five of its hotel bars recognised among the Forbes Travel Guide Star Bars 2025.

The inaugural list, featuring 58 venues worldwide, celebrates the most exceptional hotel bars offering distinctive ambience, flawless service and memorable experiences.

Chosen by anonymous inspectors who visited multiple times as part of Forbes Travel Guide’s Star Ratings, the honourees represent the very best in design, presentation and guest service.

Here are the five UAE hotel bars recognised this year:

Manhattan Lounge, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi

With New York’s vibrancy at its core, the Manhattan Lounge blends cosmopolitan energy with the relaxed sophistication of Saadiyat Island.

Leather chairs, live entertainment and intimate corners make it a versatile space for both quiet evenings and lively gatherings. Its signature creation, the Arabian Snapper, reimagines a classic drink with za’atar, giving it a distinctly Middle Eastern flavour.

The Polo Bar, Al Habtoor Palace, Dubai

Located inside the Four-Star Al Habtoor Palace, The Polo Bar offers a hushed retreat that pays homage to equestrian traditions. Dark wood panelling, leather seating and equine artwork evoke a classic sports bar feel, while jazz sets add to the atmosphere.

Guests are drawn to its Red Stallion, a bold creation with fruity and floral notes balanced by subtle spice.

Bvlgari Bar, Bvlgari Resort and Residences Dubai

Overlooking the seafront promenade, Bvlgari Bar is known for its gleaming chrome design and Italian-inspired elegance.

It stands out for its stylish ambience, where guests can enjoy menus inspired by Mediterranean flair. One highlight is Le Parisien, a refreshing blend with floral and botanical hints served in a glamorous setting.

Peacock Alley, Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre

A modern tribute to the original Peacock Alley that once linked the Waldorf and Astoria hotels in 19th-century Manhattan, this venue brings a touch of history to Dubai’s bustling financial hub.

Its ambience reflects both New York tradition and Dubai’s cosmopolitan style. Guests often turn to its inventive Game On, combining layered flavours with a contemporary twist, beautifully presented with gold accents.

Library Bar, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai

Evoking the spirit of classic drawing rooms, the Library Bar combines refined interiors with a warm, intimate atmosphere.

Tufted chairs, hardwood floors and a box beam ceiling set the tone for leisurely evenings. Among its offerings is the KEN-95, a rich, spiced creation accompanied by gourmet bites such as olives and truffle cashews.

Star Bars 2025

The inclusion of these five hotel bars in the Star Bars 2025 list highlights the UAE’s ability to merge international flair with local character. For visitors seeking world-class service and distinctive ambience, these venues stand ready to deliver memorable experiences in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
